When I first started therapy, I wasn’t sure of what to expect. I only knew that I needed help. I had many questions about therapy and often felt uncertain with regards to its effectiveness. Furthermore, it was difficult for me to open up to who I perceived as a stranger. However, having been with Sarah for more than a year now, I can honestly say that going to therapy was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I got to understand myself a lot better as she has offered many insights and alternative perspectives that questioned my behaviours and thought processes. I really appreciate how she is always open to feedback and often changes her approach to suit what I’m comfortable with as well as allowing me to progress at my own pace. I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone who is looking for a therapist to work with. Though it is not always easy, thank you for guiding me throughout this journey!

Sarah is my first counselor (and hopefully the last). Being new to counselling, I feel inadequate to accurately measure Sarah’s abilities and effectiveness. Yet, I felt heard and listened to during the sessions. Especially after going through a few sessions, I feel impressed that she makes me feel that there is a lineage to my current experience and feelings. She makes me feel comfortable enough to be honest with her. I would continue this journey with her as I can identify some improvements.

I first met with Sarah 3 months ago, and already I am seeing the effects and benefits of our meetings. I look forward to each one and come away feeling calmer and more in tune with my emotions, thoughts and actions. Sarah is warm, kind, a fantastic listener and incredibly perceptive; she really makes me think about myself on a deeper level and understand the why behind actions/behaviours/thoughts. Sarah is professional, reliable and I cannot recommend her services enough.. if in doubt or new to therapy, go for it – Sarah will make you feel 100% comfortable and you won’t regret it!

I’ve been with Sarah for some time now, and what I like about her approach is that she would listen and help me identify/frame the recurring themes from my experiences. She also uses a mixture of different exercises such as meditation, visualization and reflection so that I can either go deeper to release the pent-up emotions or view the situations I face from a different perspective. Thank you for being there to support me in this healing journey!
